Workplace Health & Safety Training
Compass Assurance Training offers a full suite of qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety. Persons holding the previous Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Qualifications may undertake a low-cost transition program to attain the relevant WHS Qualification.
These courses will help to ensure that you have the safety skills required to be legally compliant, develop a safety culture, enhance your worker’s health, lower absenteeism and reduce risks.
All courses are nationally recognised training courses that will aid participants in up-skilling their existing qualifications.
This qualification is suitable for people working in a work health and safety (WHS) role who may or may not work under supervision and often provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.
There are no entry requirements for this qualification, however, students are required to have sound language, literacy and numeracy skills to cover the course content and complete required assessment.
This qualification is suitable for people who coordinate and maintain the work health and safety (WHS) program in an organisation. It reflects the role of practitioners who apply a substantial knowledge base and well-developed skills in a wide variety of WHS contexts.
To enrol in this course participants must have completed the eight core units of the Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent.
This qualification is suitable for people who apply advanced practical knowledge to coordinate, facilitate and maintain the work health and safety (WHS) program in one or more fields of work in an organisation, such as a WHS practitioner or HR practitioner. They may work under the guidance of an occupational health and safety professional.
To complete this course participants must have completed all core units in the Diploma of Work Health and Safety or equivalent competencies.
