We have just received news the cut-off date for the Western Australian Industry Participation Strategy (WAIPS) has been extended to February 28th, 2019
The Western Australian Industry Participation Strategy (WAIPS Round) is an initiative from the Western Australian Government aimed at providing small to medium-sized businesses with access to funding for selected activities.

Eligible businesses can use the funding for the following activities:

• Expert consultant services
• Equipment
• Improvements to internal business infrastructure and systems, including ISO certification, and
• Training

As a business in Western Australia that is not currently certified to a standard, this represents an opportunity to save $1000’s on the cost of gaining ISO certification.
Being certified to an ISO standard allows a company to:
• Get on preferred suppliers lists
• Win more tenders and grow, and
• Stand out among competitors
Already certified to a standard?
Business’ can receive grants towards new certification as part of this scheme. So, if you’re already certified to ISO9001 and want to add ISO45001 Safety Certification, you can apply to have up to 50% of the cost reimbursed to you

How do I know if I am eligible to apply for the grant?

Businesses are eligible to apply for the grant if they meet the following requirements:
• Be solvent
• Have been operating for at least 3 years
• Submit only one application per operating facility
• Employ up to 200 people

How can I apply?

Eligible businesses can apply up until February 28th, 2019 by filling out the attached application form and submit it to [email protected]
