We are very pleased to announce the merger of Global Certification with Compass Assurance Services. This is very exciting news for both companies, our staff and most importantly for you, our customers.

Both Compass and Global are focused on delivering the highest levels of customer service through accredited certification services. Our greatest asset has always been our people and with Global Certification joining Compass we have strengthened this even more, so we can ensure we continue to deliver high-quality certification services to you and the Australian community.

You can continue to rely on the same personal working relationship you have had in the past and the same quality of work, we will be able to provide more support and more products to help you navigate your compliance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my auditor change?
All Global Certification and Compass auditors are maintained so there is no plan for auditors to change – with the merger there is more auditors located in more locations we have offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth so can offer more flexibility as well as continuity
Will the cost increase?
Both Global Certification and Compass review their pricing from time to time, there is no plan for price increases as a consequence of this merger and any increase in the future will always be communicated to you with plenty of notice
What does this mean to my certification status/certificate etc?
The JAS-ANZ accreditation of Global Certification and Compass is maintained so there are no changes to certification status or your Certificate. At your next scheduled audit, we will talk to you about aligning with Compass’ accreditation.
Will the auditing process/record requirements change?
Both Global Certification and Compass are accredited by JAS-ANZ this means we follow the same processes for auditing and for assessing records – so the audit process will remain consistent with previous years
Do I have to change all the logo’s on my website/letterheads?
Global Certification’s accreditation shall be maintained for several years so you will be able to keep using these logos for quite some time, we will talk to you about aligning with Compass’ accreditation and using Compass logos but you will have plenty of time to plan for this
Who do I talk to if I have any questions?
You can talk to your Global Certification auditor or General Manager David Steer – or contact Compass Managing Director Paul Lindsay.
If I have any outstanding non-conformances, what happens with those now?
The audit process remains exactly the same so please continue to close out any non-conformances in accordance with instructions from your auditor
Will I be audited to the same ISO standards?
Both Global Certification and Compass are accredited by JAS-ANZ this means we follow the same processes for auditing and audit the same standards
Can we keep the same month for the audit?
There are no changes to timing of audits or auditor so this will stay exactly the same unless you want it to change
Will the audits remain remote until after COVID19 for those currently being audited remotely?
Both Global Certification and Compass are accredited by JAS-ANZ this means we follow the same processes with relation to COVID-19 and remote audits. We work with clients and government requirements on a case-by-case basis and plan your audit with your requirements a key consideration
